Products and preparation

Choosing and using ginseng

What forms of American ginseng do you sell?

We sell whole dried roots, sliced roots, tea bags, and ground whole-root powder. Capsules are available in a 60-count bottle.

Where is your ginseng grown?

Our American ginseng is grown by the Heil family in Marathon County, Wisconsin.

How should I choose a format?

Choose whole root for the traditional slice-it-yourself experience, slices for easier steeping or cooking, powder for mixing into food and drinks, or tea bags for a pre-portioned cup. Compare every format.

How much powder should I use?

Follow the current package label and adjust recipes for flavor. We do not publish a household-spoon-to-weight conversion because spoon size, packing, and powder density vary.

How should I store ginseng?

Keep products sealed in a cool, dry place away from moisture and direct sunlight. Follow any additional directions on the current package label.
